A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced nurse to work as a Deputy Manager within this highly reputable and impressive care home. As Deputy Manager you'll support the Home Manager in ensuring that residents nursing needs are met at all times with high standards and quality. You'll offer a person centredapproach to independence, well being and choice to our residents whilst having the ability to work well under pressure, problemsolve and communicate effectively.

The Home is a purpose-built facility situated in Tyne and Wear that offers a modern standard of nursing and social care to the surrounding communities. It has a Gold Standard award from Sunderland Council and prides itself on first class care to all those living there.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities for the Deputy Manager RGN

* Assistance with daily management of the home:
* Take responsibility for the running of the home in the absence of the registered manager.
* Help the registered manager with the general management of thehome working under their guidance and leadership.
* Support the registered manager produce and maintain the systems and procedures for auditing and assuring quality of care provided by the home.



Skills and experience for the Deputy Manager RGN:* Understand care planning processes and have experience of writing care plans.
* Experience of working with residents withvarious health needs.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to lead, coach and develop staff.
* A proven ability to work as part of a team.
* Self-motivated and flexible.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
