Description:
The role of a Consultant General Physician with special interestin Respiratory carries a significant amount of responsibility as they are a vital member of the Medical Department. As the specialist individual, whose duty it is to ensure patients receive the best possible care, it is a challenging but rewarding post.The work of a consultant goes beyond caring directly for patients, they are often leaders of the multidisciplinary team and areheavily involved in the training and development of junior doctors and students.
Taking on this position enables a highly motivated experienced medical professional to develop new skills and to apply their extensive knowledge in a challenging but worthwhile and exciting environment.
Essential Requirements:
* IMC Specialist registration or in the process of registering with IMC in the specialist division
* Relevant qualifications
* 5 - 10 years' relevant experience post-graduation
* Previousresearch in clinical specialities with a number of publications
* Irish or UK experience desirable
