Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Quality & Compliance to join a growing Pharmaceutical company based in Essex, specialising in the production of wholesale, hospital and pharmacy products. A strong QA, compliance and leadership background is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
*To oversee,manage and lead the Quality and Compliance Department and service providers for the company and take lead to ensure the companyis fully compliant with all appropriate regulatory authorities relating to all company activities.
*To lead and promote joinedup quality thinking and decision making across all company site operations.
*To build a high performing, motivated and skilled Quality team
*To lead by example, inspire the Quality team to outperform
*To take full accountability for the Quality, Compliance, and RP activities for the UK business, liaising closely with the EU Quality team.
*To take lead to ensure the companyis fully compliant as an MA holder, meeting regulatory and quality standards whilst maintaining compliance to GMP, GDP, GCP andlicense commitments.
*To take lead on and full accountability for the company's UK complete Quality Management System.
*Toassume the Site Subject Matter Expert role, liaising directly with internal and external customers on all subjects including batch certification.
*To oversee the Regulatory Authority Inspections.
