To be eligible to work in Ireland you will need to meet the following essential criteria:
1 Hold valid Irish Medical Council Registration, or at least be in process with the Irish Medical Council - to work as anSHO/Medical Officer/Registrar and Senior Registrar you will need to hold General Registration, to work as a Consultant you willneed to hold Specialist Registration.
2 You will need to evidence your ability to work through English - the two accepted standards are IELTS overall band 7, not less than 6.5 in each domain OR OET Grade B Overall.
3 You will need to have relevant experience in your field of medicine.
4 You must be available to relocate to Ireland to start working in the January 2021 rotationThere are a large number of open roles available, and we want to talk with any doctor considering relocation to Ireland.
