Description:
Nursing Home Care Assistants
Your role will be to ensure the general well-being of the residents, promoting their independence, choice and dignity by delivering the highest standards of care. You will support with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing, supporting people who need help at meal times, and by taking part in social activities with residents as required following guidance from the nurse in charge.
We invest in our staff with acomprehensive induction training course and development above the national guidelines as we recognise our staff are the key to our success. Recruiting and retaining the right staff is paramount. We do this by valuing their input and empowering them throughout their roles.
Varying shifts available for both days and nights (block booking in advance)
Days: 07.30 - 13.30 / 07.30- 16.00 / 12.30 - 21.00 / 16.00 - 21.00
Nights: 20.45 - 07.45
Drivers licence with access to a vehicle isn't essential (however preferred) as public transport isn't reliable as the location to the home is situated on the outskirts of Swindon.

What we require from you:
Ideally you will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a care environment in either a care home, or as a home care worker.
As a Healthcare Assistant you'll havea desire to work in elderly and dementia care. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be kind, reliable, empathic and recognise that the needs of each person we care for is individual.
