This growing organisation in North Cork are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to join their team. You will bring with you energy, passion andenthusiasm for well-being in the workplace, you will have a wealth of ideas and promotions to help make this place of work a happy and health one.
Working full-time, this is a busy role and will involve some travel within Munster.
Day to day duties include:
Coordination of Health Surveillance Programmes including pre employment medicals, health screening, risk assesments and vaccination clinics.
* Ongoing review of Occupational health policies and procedures in line with legisalation and bestpractice.
* Working closely with the Business and divisional HR teams to proactively manage absenteeism on a case by case basis.
* Proactive follow up with management of accidents at work and long term absenteeism cases.
* Co-ordinate the successful delivery of health promotion initiatives to promote employee wellbeing in the workplace.
The successful candidate should have:* A recognised qualification in Occupational Health with a minimum of 3-5 years work experience preferably in a Manufacturing/Retail environment.
