Are you a nurse with 2-6 years'experience in an acute Oncology setting with NMC registration?
I have a fantastic opportunity for you in London in a prestigious private hospital which is renowned for its warm working culture and exceptional state-of-the-art service. My client's ethosis to put the patient at the heart of everything they do.
Where would I be working?
You would be working in an award-winning cancer care centre in the Oncology Inpatient Department which includes state-of-the-art radiotherapy and chemotherapy suites.
What is my role?
* You would be responsible for the delivery of high standards of care to patients to assess and evaluate patient's condition effectively.
* You would be required to administer chemotherapy and other anti-cancer treatments to patients.
* You would be required to use evidence-based practice, quality assurance and clinical audit in all aspects of your nursing care.
* You would need to have a good ability to build relationships with your patients and colleagues, with an abilityto work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Deputising for Sister / Charge Nurses in their absence would also be required.
* You would deliver therapeutic engagement to patients and educate them in accordance with their condition, embodyingthe core values of the service.
* You would mentor student nurses and HCA's to assist them in their practice.
What Experience do I need?
* You must be an RGN with valid NMC or NMBI pin.
* You must have 2-3+ years (Grade E/Band 6 in the UK) or 5-6+ years (Grade 5/Band 7) post-practice experience in oncology or in acute medicine.
* You must have experience in the administration of cytotoxic drugs and relevant qualification from the UK or Ireland.
* You must have strong knowledge of oncologicalconditions, diseases, cytotoxic drugs & therapies, with experience of peripheral/central venous access devices, cannulation& phlebotomy.
* You must be a highly motivated individual who possesses strong communication, interpersonal & organisational skills.

* 2-3 years - Grade E Oncology Inpatients = £38,531 - £43,169 (€41,530 - €46,529).
* 5-6 years -Grade F Oncology Inpatients = £39,930 - £50,760 (€43,038 - €54,711).
* 5-hour week (hours vary from 7.5 to 9 hours per day).
* Relocation allowance of £2,500 (€78).
