FRS is currently recruiting an exceptionally motivated experienced Paediatrics Consultant in Emergency Medicine for aleading hospital in the Leinster region of Ireland. The successful candidate will work as an important part of the multi-disciplinary team providing unparalleled patient care in a well-run medical centre with modern, advanced facilities.
The role of aPaediatrics Consultant in Emergency Medicine carries a significant amount of responsibility and they are a vital member of the Emergency Medicine Department. As the specialist individual whose duty it is to ensure patients receive the best possible care, it is a challenging but rewarding post. The work of a consultant goes beyond caring directly for patients, they are often leadersof the multidisciplinary team and are heavily involved in the training and development of junior doctors and students.
Taking on this position enables a highly motivated experienced medical professional to develop new skills and to apply their extensive knowledge in a challenging but worthwhile and exciting environment.
Essential Requirements:
* IMC registration or in the process of registering with IMC
* Relevant qualifications
* 5 - 10 years' relevant experience post-graduation
* Previousresearch in clinical specialties with a number of publications
* Irish or UK experience desirable
* Excellent English skills
