An exciting opportunity has become available for 2registered nurses to join a dedicated team of carers and nurses offering quality nursing, social and respite care based in St Saviour, Jersey Channel Islands situated close to the town centre.
The home has been modernised and extended to provide a well-equipped care home whilst maintaining many of its original characteristics.
The home is surrounded by large mature gardensproviding a peaceful setting and caters for its residents every need providing comfort and security within a warm caring friendly environment. It offers an excellent choice of freshly prepared meals with all dietary requirements catered for.
With single and double rooms available, beautifully landscaped gardens, a regular programme of activities and entertainment, hairdressing and chiropody facilities available.
It is registered for 34 residents in the elderly 65+ age group offering quality nursing, social and respite care delivered by a dedicated team of carers and nurses.
THE ROLE
The Role of the RGN is to providethe highest standard of skilled nursing and personal care to meet Service Users' individual needs and in such a manner as to encourage maximum independence, dignity and the opportunity to lead a 'normal' lifestyle within the security of a family setting.The RGN is expected to deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence and accept responsibility for the smooth running of the Home, liaising with the Senior Staff as necessary regarding the well-being of Service Users, Staff or the Home.
