Our client iscurrently in search of an experienced Sonographer looking to work in the western region of Ireland.
The FRS Healthcare teamis currently working with a renowned state-of-the-art private hospital(with over 140 beds), based in the Western region of the country to take on a Permanent Senior Sonographer role.
This is a great opportunity for any Sonographer in and around Irelandto gain in-depth experience while working with a world-class team of healthcare professionals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Perform all ultrasound procedures including vascular studies and be responsible for the maintenance of the equipment.
*Perform on-call duties and/or work variable shifts.
* Provide for patient care, comfort, safety, and patient confidentiality.* Respond to emergencies and provided a daily work routine
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* CORU Registration
* Minimumof 5 years post-graduate experience
* Diploma of the College of Radiographers (Diagnostic) or have a Bachelor of Science or its equivalent in (Diagnostic Radiography).
* Higher Diploma in Ultrasound or its equivalent supported by a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a broad range of Ultrasound examinations
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in Ultrasound Imaging as relevant to the role.
* Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationships
* Demonstrate experience of working with a team of Radiographers.
* Have proven ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Have a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative.
* Flexibility in role and take on additional duties as required
