A Pharmaceutical company with extended presence on global level is expandingthe Biometrics department with a Principal Statistician to be based in London area. The team needs an experienced individual with a particular passion for the scientific and statistics field to lead statistical activities in clinical trials, submissions and working close with a talented team of statisticians.
As Principal Biostatistician you will statistical activities in end toend clinical trials. Functionally managing a small group of experienced statisticians will be part of your core activity with planning, coordinating and evaluating analysis in key therapeutic indications. Furthermore you should expect to oversee contractors and mentor staff as assigned.
The successful candidate will have:
- BSc in statistics or related discipline;
- Minimum4 years of experience developed in CRO/Pharma/Biotech;
- Superb statistical knowledge applicable to clinical trials;
- Strong expertise in using statistical software (e.g. SAS and/or R);
- Demonstrable knowledge of international standards (ICH, GCP,CDISC) and industry's regulations;
- Extended communication skills in English, both written and spoken;
- CDISC standards experience would be a significant advantage;
- Publications in peer reviewed medical or statistical journals would be a great plus.
