Exciting opportunities for Respiratory Physiologists available!
I am proud to announce that I am currently seeking Staff Grade Respiratory Physiologists. I am recruiting for a number of vacancies available all over Ireland and I would like to hear from candidates who are readyto enhance and provide a high-quality diagnostic service in the Respiratory Department.
If you have a strong, evidence basedclinical knowledge, appropriate level of understanding respiratory procedures, the ability to take initiative and organise workin an effective manner, this opportunity might be just for you!
Clinical experience required:
* Conducting a full range of non-invasive respiratory diagnostic tests including spirometry, bronchodilator testing, lung volumes, gas transfer, body plethysmography, airways resistance, pulmonary compliance and maximum inspiratory and expiratory pressures.
* Carrying out a rangeof invasive diagnostic procedures including exercise provocation studies, bronchial challenge tests, skin allergy testing.
* Setting up, and assisting at Cardio-pulmonary Exercise testing including all procedures associated with this investigation method* Carrying out full polysomnography and analysing the data.
* Assisting at CPAP titration and its follow up.
Qualification:
* Relevant qualification such as BSc in Clinical Measurement or the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM)
* Ideally at least 2 years of post- qualification experience
