Principal Manufacturing Engineer
£37,000-£42,000
Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with leadership experience?Are you eligible for SC clearance? If yes then we have a role for you.
My client a world leader in the Defence sector is looking for a Principle Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Hertfordshire.
In this role you will manage and deliver manufacturing Systems and Processes, and become the technical lead and engineering team Leader in development and production of many complex products.
The role will also include leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, conducting processFMEAs as well as the creation and approval of manufacturing and test instruction documentation.
You will need to have substantial level of experience in Electromechanical manufacturing environments along with experience in engineering leadership.
Theideal candidate will have:
* HNC/HND Level of Qualifications or equivalent plus substantial level of experience
* Experience in engineering leadership / management.
* A detailed knowledge of current Manufacturing Engineering Tools
* Good Planning and Organising skills to ensure multiple tasks are prioritised and monitored to deliver set objectives.
* Communication skills; the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
* Have the ability to communicate both within the working group and at various levels of the organisation.
* Negotiating and influencing skills.
* Analytical and problem solving skills.
*Attention to detail
* SC clearance
