Estimator / Building Surveyor

Position, Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £40,000.00 to £45,000.00 /year
The Company
LPC Property Maintenance are a leading property maintenance firm based in London, HA7. We have a great management team backed by qualified plumbers, electricians, heating technicians and experienced tradesmen ready to carry out repairs and maintenance to both residential and commercial properties.
Due to company expansion, we’re now looking for a Full Time Estimator / Building Surveyor.
The Position - Estimator / Building Surveyor
- Providing costs of works to be carried out
- Providing a list of materials required to complete the job
- Dealing with material supply etc
- Position requires the applicant to have a good knowledge of the building/maintenance industry
- Responsible for identifying all fire related risks and issues on a project and design, arrange and oversee the necessary remedial actions and work packages, taking into account the complexity of the required work and overall fire risk
- To provide cost analysis on various projects and provide expenditure forecasts
- To undertake contract Evaluations / Surveys/ Estimates, both pre and post contract, and prepare evaluation reports
- You will need to have a proven track record of producing accurate scopes of work
- Manage repairs staff, specialist consultants, designers and clerk of works in order to ensure compliance with fire safety legislation
- Responsible for liaising with other professional bodies including Building Control and the Fire Service

- Basic salary of £40,000.00 to £45,000.00 /year
- Working hours 8:30 am - 17:00 pm, Monday to Friday
- Must have own vehicle & driving licence
- Company vehicle will be provided after a probationary period
