Due to the speed of expansion for this Housing Association, they have a need for a new Head of Development to jointheir ever-growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress in their career and join an inspiring company.
This role is focused on delivering development opportunities which achieve their growth strategy. Leading on the deliveryof new build affordable schemes and S106 programme, inspiring and managing a team of senior development managers and delivery managers.
They key responsibilities:
·Lead on the development of strategy, policy and standards for the delivery of affordable homes.
·Provide leadership to colleagues within the team ensuring that realistic but challenging business growth and investment targets are set and achieved.
·Lead on developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships, particularly with local authorities' planning teams, local land owners, agents and developers.
·Identify and appraise all new business opportunities and provide the Executive Team with relevant business cases summarising strategic and organisational fit, options including all tenures,costs, exit route, risks and rewards.
If you have previous relevant experience within affordable housing, either client or contractor side as well as having a strong track record of delivering multi million pound schemes and managing a team then don'thesitate to apply.
