My client based in Carmarthen is looking for a Property Maintenance Manager to become part of their team on a fixed term contract until 31/03/2019.
As a Property Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day repairs and routine maintenance of the companies portfolio of properties. The properties are located throughout wales so there is a food amount of travelling involved and a driving licence is a necessity.
You will be working on your own initiative, making decisions and will need excellent communication skills.
Sound knowledge of housing maintenance, health & safety, fire safety and all related legislation is a must for this role.
You will have the ability to manage, control budgets and expenditure with effective time management skills and be able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
You will have theability to work unsupervised covering a large geographical area.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:

·Inspection of approximately 100 properties across Wales to identify and recommend repairs to ensure high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are maintained.
·Management of contractors
·Working with a wide variety of properties providing technical advice, undertaking inspections of vacant and occupied homes, diagnosing defects and post inspection of works on completion.
·Ensuring that the maintenance service is compliant with relevant safety and building legislation.
·Ensuring thatall repairs and contracts are commenced and completed in accordance with agreed programmes and within budget
The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 9-5 with the possibility of the occasional overnight stay if a property is particularly far away, costs covered by client.
The salary for this sole is £28,000-£32,000 per annum (pro rata for the FTC)
