Description:
The main role of the Quantity Surveyor will be:
* To provide astute and comprehensive pre and post contract cost consultancy advice and solution
* Collect and document feasibility estimates, alongside cost plans and cost reports
* Prepare tender documentation and pre-tender estimations
* Advise all parties on procurement opportunities
* Value management and value engineering - function:cost
* Assessment and documentation of current work in progress
* Client and project risk management
Requirements
* MRICS qualified or ready for the Final Assessment
* Good IT skills - Microsoft Word and Excel
* GSCE Maths and English
* Good leadership and planning skills* Previous educational/ schools/ academy experience is a benefit, alongside residential experience
* Subject to DBS Enhanced check
* Full clean driving license
