Description:
My client are a prestigious government organisation based in Fareham,Hampshire. They are seeking a Data scientist ona 3 month contract basis. This role requires SC clearance.
This is initially a 3-month temporary contract role with an immediate starting date working on behalf of the organisations Data architect division. The role will involve:
* Understanding the data and processes for each index, building models to test innovative solutions.
* Work alongside and learn from other dataarchitects, developers and data engineers to come up with most appropriate tools to address current issues with the developmentof each index.
* Present the data and your ideas to the rest of the team, work alongside the team on the test cases and implementations
Key Responsibilities
* Your research will inform the content and the shape of the framework in this and next iterations of the RDMF
* Ensure that the RDMF is well suited to aligned to answer government policy questions
* Ensure that the strategic vision for the project reflects user needs
* Research into the design of the interface which suit user needs
* Analysis of the stakeholders and user groups

* Expert in applied maths, statistics and scientific practices. Has knowledge and experience in the application of this skill. Is a recognised specialist and advisor in this skill including user needs, generation of ideas, methods, tools and leading or guiding others in best practice use.
* Expertin Data Engineering and manipulation: Has knowledge and experience in the application of this skill. Is a recognised specialistand advisor in this skill including user needs, generation of ideas, methods, tools and leading or guiding others in best practice use.
* Expert in data science innovation: Has knowledge and experience in the application of this skill. Is a recognised specialist and advisor in this skill including user needs, generation of ideas, methods, tools and leading or guiding others in best practice use.
* Practitioner in Data Science capability: Shares knowledge and experience of the skill with others, including tools and techniques, defining those most appropriate for the environment.
* Domain Expertise: Shares knowledge and experience of the skill with others, including tools and techniques, defining those most appropriate for the environment.
