Role details
A challenging, thought provoking and innovative Data Scientist role for a Local Authority. The council is lookingfor someone with strength in extracting data, creating visualisation and implementing models across the service to improve existing and future programmes and opportunities.
You will be an integral part to the team, working with analysts, data warehousespecialists, ICT managers and Business Intelligence experts. You will help lead in the design and change of data models to enhance cost savings and long-term reduction.
The main duties of the Data Scientist will include:
·Use innovative data science and statistics to develop and push topics and programmes forward
·Contribute to the ongoing and planned agendas of the team and local authority
·Work as an expert in data analysis and data modelling to influence change
Key skills:
·Experience in Public Sector
·Business Intelligence experience
·Related Masters, or PhD, or Degree
·Good knowledge of SPSS and SQL
