Role details
Brand new opportunity with a client in the East Midlands who are looking to bring on an experienced Head of Commissioning into the Adult Social Care team. The reason for the role becoming available is due to the Local Authority integrating their services to help implement better cost-effective measures.
You will be entering a west established team specifically supplying commissioning expertise across a variety of services in Adult Social Care. You will be adding real value to the Local Authority, by providing guidance and completing the whole commissioning cycle. As part of your role, your expectation will be to engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver value for money, whilst ensuring that the commissioning function meets required outcomes by the public bodies.
Key experienced required
* Line management experience commissioning in Older People, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Residential services
* Post graduate management qualification
* Taking a lead role once working with healthpartners to aid with joint commissioning
The interim role will be for a minimum of 3 months with a potential of extension to 6 months, with a rate between £500-£550 dependant on experience, the role will be deemed inside IR35.
