Panoramic Associates is currently supporting a London Local Authority with the recruitment of an interim Head of Portfolio Management. As part of your role, you will focus on maximising the return on investment for the council's programme managementoffice. The council is looking to develop new neighbourhoods, homes, town centre and its capital investment hence needing to increase the efficiency of its processes.
Other responsibilities:
* Mitigating any potential risk or financial failure* Carrying out impact assessments across the capital portfolio
* Set out rigorous process and translate effectively to team members and peers
* Implement new rigorous processes and procedures which deliver continuous improvement
* Overseeing the Economic Growth, Culture and Housing Delivery Divisions core governance arrangements
It would be advantageous to haveoriginated from a Local Authority background as you will be familiar with the governance arrangements and internal procedures.Also, a sound Project Management background would be desirable.
The role will be scoped inside IR35 for an initial 3-6 months with a likely extension, my client will be looking to conduct virtual interviews week commencing 6th April.
