I am currentlylooking for an Independent Safeguarding Chair based in one of the home counties. This role will provide leadership, lead on improvement and assess the multi-agency partnership.
The successful candidate will have significant proven skills and experiencein:
*An ability to work at a senior leadership level, with experience specifically within a children's safeguarding
*Leadership in business planning, performance reporting, budgetary and service improvement work.
*Thorough understanding of the different organisations involved in safeguarding and how they work
*Initiating and managing debates/conversations between partner agencies, and being able to make appropriate judgements
This role will be accountable to the Chief Executive and the countries partnerships, you will work independent of any organisation working within the local authority.
