Our client is looking for a procurement professional who is confident in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting contracts for costoptimisation and delivering savings targets within your category.
The Interim Category Buyer will be responsible for;
* Management and analysis of the assigned spend category.
* Assisting the Procurement Manager to write and implement tender procedures and policies.
* Researching commodities and markets through trials and questionnaires.
* Preparing and analysing market evaluation sheets (quotation/tender).
* Negotiate with suppliers/ departments to achieve optimum value for money.
This role offers between £175- £250 p/d inside IR35. Commutable from Essex, Hertfordshire, and North London.
Knowledge ofEU procurement procedures (OJEU) and principles of Public Contracts Regulations is desirable.
The successful applicant will be available to start within 1 week's notice. Please note: DBS check will be required for the successful applicant.
