Panoramic Associates are working with a Local Authority in the North West to place an Interim Consultant in PublicHealth for a 6-month position.
The Consultant will be responsible for improving population health outcomes and transformingservices as a systems leader. The main focus of your work will be around securing significant improvements within public protection and children and young people's determinants of health and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities:
* Responsible for a budget of externally commissioned health improvement related services and line management of a dedicated number of health improvement staff
* Be the lead for children and young people's portfolio across Council directorates as well as influencing partnership boards
* Lead on improving health and social outcomes for key population groups and service areas suchas; early years, children and young people, learning disabilities, children's safeguarding, fostering and adoption, CAMHS, Special Educational Needs
* Strengthen and enhance front line practitioner capacity to deliver improved children's outcomes, increased opportunity and life chances.
* To be a lead driver and agent of change in the Integrated Care Partnerships (ICPs).
It is essential that you have Inclusion in the GMC Full and Specialist Register with a license to
practice/GDC Specialist List (or be eligible for registration within six months of interview) or
Inclusion in the UK Public Health Register (UKPHR) for Public Health Specialists (or be eligible for registration within six months of interview).
