£45k - £50k

Panoramic Associates have been instructed on an exciting new opportunity with one of the Country's most dynamic, forward thinking local authorities.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic authority is keen to recover well, but aren't trying to go back to where the were - but rather push forward to new and better ways of delivering for its communities.

With this in mind, they are now looking for a Lead Specialist - to drive changein the Community. This role is responsible for delivering key outcomes of the Council Plan that relate to wellbeing and sustainable communities.

The successful applicant will lead on areas such as Housing needs, Benefits, Health & Wellbeing and ourCareline service. You will also be involved in many projects, programmes and teams, delivering leisure priorities, social mobility challenges, and finding innovative and creative ways to support the local communities.

The post holder will require extensive leadership experience, as we are looking for someone who can effect real change and improvements, taking our colleagues along with you as you deliver for our communities.

Key tasks



* To deliver professional and specialist services, on behalf of the local authority, with high standards of advice and support and resolving cases of varying complexity as they arise.* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, legislation, professional codes of practice and adherence to Council policy. This includes being accountable for professional standards of specialisms across the areas of your responsibilities.* Be a positive advocate for change and improvement across the areas of responsibility.



* Deliver projects, interventions and initiatives and develop policies (together with other teams where appropriate) in-line with the Council Plan, business plans, strategies etc.

In summary, we require a strong leader with a proven record in delivering change across multiple streams within the local authority arena.
