Essential
Proven experience in a professional Programme/Project Management role.
Good understanding of project or programme management methodologies, tools and techniques including: requirements management, planning, scheduling, resource management, budgeting and cost management, risk and issue management,quality management, governance, frameworks and methodologies, stakeholder engagement, assurance, change control and benefits management.
Understanding of other project or programme management methodologies, tools and techniques including: commercial andprocurement, solutions development, business change and implementation, business case development, asset allocation and knowledge management.
Familiarity with external applicable quality standards.
Understanding of the need to maintain a practical and pragmatic approach to standards compliance.
Excellent interpersonal skills/customer service skills.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Good collaboration and influencing skills.
Good conflict resolution skills.
Good report writing/drafting skills.
Good risk management.
Good analytical skills.
Good presentation skills.
Proven track record of managing a medium or small complexity project or working as a member of a large or medium complexity project team or as a specialist or workstream leadfor small, low complexity project.
Proven experience of managing a team or first line management.
Experienced in effective decision making with accountability for decisions made.
Experience of analysing information from a range of sources.
Experienceof planning.
Desirable
Industry-recognised Programme and Project Management (PPM) qualification:
* PRINCE2 Practitioner* Agile Project Management Practitioner
* APM Project Management Qualification
* APM Practitioner Qualification.
