Panoramic Associates are working with a London based local authority tosupport them in their requirement for an interim public health analyst.
Role
To support a local primary care network(PCN) develop a population health profile that will ensure the PCN's health and care services are aligned with their populationneeds. The role will involve collating data from various health, social care and public health sources and carrying out analysis, interpretation and presentation of findings to help the PCN understand its intervention outcomes and resource use variation among practices.
Person Specification
* Experience working with NHS and Public Health information systems and data including GP primary care and secondary care data (SUS/HES), NHS statistical returns, operational and performance frameworks.
* Strong analytical and presentation skills and an experienced user of statistical and visualization software e.g. MS Excel, SPSS,R, Power BI and GIS.
* A good understanding of health information issues in a provider/commissioning environment and NHS datastructures and flows.
* Ability to interpret complex management information and make insightful recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
* Experience of producing reports regarding complex quantitative information in a variety of formats, including formal reports, to a variety of professional and lay audiences
* Experience in the use of statistical and epidemiological methodologies for interpreting and understanding data sets
