"Careers inCare" Recruitment Co-ordinator - 12 month FTC

An exciting new role is being developed to support a project called "Careers inCare, Swindon" where we aim to recruit a large number of additional people into the care sector locally including Apprentices.The role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter to develop their skills and further their career. You willbe responsible for engaging with key stakeholders to develop effective networks and partnerships to make a real difference and ensure the project success. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the recruitment process is planned, managed and delivered effectively to recruit a large number of new people into the care profession.

The post holder will provide high quality project management administration support, including completing complex information and analysis. You will need to be a very good communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work both as part of a team andautonomously are essential for the role.

Main duties & responsibilities

* To work as part of a team and support the recruitment of people into a career in care at all levels.
* Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure maximum reach with any advertising of positions and project success.
* Co-ordinate, facilitate and develop partnerships between employers and training providers, linking into Skills Boards and Skills for Care opportunities.
* Promote apprenticeships, work placements and other training opportunities to support unemployed people to re-skill for careers in care.
* Advertise roles effectively to attract a large response of high quality candidates by utilising recruitment and social media platforms in addition to other forms of advertising.
* Shortlist candidates and schedule interviews promptly, liaising with candidates, stakeholders and external agencies
* Conduct competency interviews that are values based to ensure we recruit the right people to deliver high quality care
* Communicate interview feedback
* Update Applicant Tracking System throughout the process
* Support with on boarding and training of new starters
* Support the development of, and trackprogress against, key project milestones and targets to support this initiative becoming sustainable.

Key skills & responsibilities

* Previous experience working as Recruitment Coordinator/Administrator
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
* Diary management experience and excellent time management skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive, hands on with the ability to use own initiative

Contractual working hours of 35hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Employment subject to rigorous checks including Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
