AutoCAD - Retail Store Planner
Permanent
Hours - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Location - Colchester
Salary -Negotiable Depending on Experience
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients who are an established multi discipline design agency specialising in all forms of 2D and 3D cad, store planning, space planning, building/land surveying, planning applications, building control, branding, concept, product & interior design.
They were born 18 years ago and have grown year on year, their teams are made up of experienced retail professionals, architects, interior designers, surveyors, engineering drafters, 3D artists, Graphic artists and software specialists. Now due to rapid expansion they are now looking to add to their team and searching experienced Retail Store Planners that are fluent with AutoCAD.
Responsibility & Duties
* Developing your skills and supporting our estates function with refits and acquisitions planning
* use AutoCAD software to design cost-effective value addinglayouts for retail plans
* go through project briefs, make sure all information is fully accurate and meets any regulations and business requirements
* use your knowledge and understanding to check each store is up to date with building regulationsExperience & Qualification
* Recently graduated from university with a planning or design related degree, or come from arole in the same field and want to develop further
* You've got an innovative approach with a keen eye for detail
* Organised and able to manage multiple conflicting priorities
* Illustrator & Sketch UP desirable
* Portfolio of design work
*Used AutoCAD within context of construction, interior design or spatial design (this will be a huge advantage)
* You've worked in retail (another big advantage)
