Get Recruited are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading, rapidly expanding business who specialise in thesales of home wear, furniture and other goods. Due to continued success, they are now seeking a Business Development Manager tojoin their team.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying prospective new business opportunities, whilst nurturing existing relationships. If you are a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager who has a track record of securing sales from large retailers, this is the opportunity for you!

THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE:
* Identify and contact prospective new business opportunities before securing face to face meetings
* Pitch the range of products to retailers, overcoming objections in order to secure new orders
* Strengthen relationships with existing clients to secure repeat and increased orders
* Implement a UK wide sales strategy to improve your area of sales
* Develop relationships with buyers within large retailers
* Workalongside the company Directors to agree strategy, marketing approach etc
* Collaborate with the wider sales team to improveconversion
* Work towards agreed targets
YOU:
* Previous experience within a similar Product Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Senior Sales / Area Manager role is essential
* Background within FMCG / retail / wholesale is essential
* A proven track record of securing new orders and relationships with buyers in large retailers
* Excellentrelationship building and account management skills
* Experience in pitching a wide product range
* A pro-active, tenaciousworking attitude
