Butcher Manager - Limerickand Nationwide
To become part of the management team, you will need you to have a passion for excellence in butchery, greatfood and customer service, which inspires those around you, and be a true leader in all that you do. You will have an ability towork on own initiative to continually develop the business and members of the team who work alongside you.
Personal Qualities/Experience
* Excellent communication skills and an ability to motivate your team.
* As the customer is at the heart of everything we do, you must have an ability to engage with customers and prioritise their needs.
* Good attention to detail be organised and flexible.
* Ability to use you own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* 2 years' experience in a Supervisory/Managerial role is desirable
* 2 years' experience as a Butcher
* Excellent knife skills and knowledge of all aspects of butchery.
* Good computer skills & a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
* Good numerical skills with experience in managing gross profit margins and working towards set budgets.
* Creative flair for merchandising and product development is desirable.
* Take great pride in your personal appearance and set a good example for your team members upholding the excellent uniform standard.
Responsibilities
* As a team leader, you will drive a strong culture of trust and commitment, living out our core values in all that you do.
* Ensure that both the store and your team members are presented to the highest standard daily.
* Ensure that all HACCP and food safety policies & procedures are adhered to, to comply with all food safety regulations.
* Keep the customer at the heart of everything we do.
* Ensure all products are prepared to recipe and merchandised to company standards.
* Develop the business through KPI's, brand initiatives, correctproduct placement, customer initiatives and employee engagement.
* Keep a tight control of stocks while ensuring full productavailability for our customers.
* Invest time in training and developing your team to ensure that they are competent in carrying out their duties in a safe, timely manner and to the company standard.
