A BRAND NEW LIVE opportunity with one of the leading Microsoft partners are now looking for an Account Director to join their expanding public sector sales team.
Account Director Job Purpose
The primary responsibilities of the Account Director will be selling intoexisting accounts and targeting new logos within the UK Public Sector. You will drive account development & revenue growth leading to customer satisfaction and on-going customer loyalty through continuous improvement and focused innovation initiatives.You will build and foster strategic relationships and will be at the forefront of our customers' digital transformation journeys, working jointly with these customers to merge business vision with solution roadmaps to enable successful transformationAccount Director Responsibilities
* Analyse customer needs in terms of current business challenges, identifying projectsand scoping potential solutions
* Participate in new opportunity development through the collection of market information
*Prepare proposals, respond to inquiries and support the selling process for other members of the sales team
* Assists in leadqualification, opportunity development and tracking
* Participate in all sales/marketing functions as it relates to company business
* Supporting current clients as needed
* Successfully execute across all disciplines of sales management, including Account /Opportunity /Relationship planning and sales methodology execution
* Partner with Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success and Marketing management to identify and close software and services solutions in your accounts
* Proactively identify and address issues that will increase growth velocity in your assigned Sectors
* Effectively predict and deliver salesresults through accurate sales forecasting
Account Director Requirements
* Comprehensive understanding of the Microsoftstack and ecosystem
* Sold into the public sector with a good understanding of how to
* Ability to get onto and work withinframeworks
* Ability to write Tenders
* Ability to develop new business and revenue streams within exiting and net new business
