My client is a leading IT distributor based in Leicester who focus on disruptive and emerging technology solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced account manager with a fun personality to join a rapidly expanding company, with opportunities for progression.
Working within a dynamic team, as an account manager you will ensure the smooth running of the company,looking after a set of existing accounts. Not only is there fantastic opportunities for progression, but there are also frequent team building activities and incentives!
THE ROLE:
* Manage a set of trading accounts
* Providing quotes and negotiating prices if necessary
* Follow up quotes, converting to a sale
* Understand the product portfolio and be able to articulate to customers
* Keep details pertaining to customer's accounts accurately updated on the CRM system
* Manage your own pipeline and time to maximise efficiency
* Provide accurate forecasting to management
THE PERSON:
* A minimum of 2 years account management experience is essential
* Excellent communicator, able to build rapport
* Strong organisational, analyticaland interpersonal skills
* Demonstrable track record of success
* Ideally be able to drive and a vehicle owner
