AREA SALES MANAGER - PUBLIC SECTOR (FIELD BASED)
SOUTH EAST ENGLAND
UP TO £40K BASIC + OTE £50K (UNCAPPED) + CAR + LUCRATIVE BENEFITS
THE OPPORTUNITY:
I am currently recruiting for my client based in South East England for a Field Based Area Sales Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
This is an extremely rare and exciting opportunity to join a fun and vibrant business who area mobility equipment supplier. You will promote products and services into Local Authorities to develop and generate new business opportunities. You will be looking after a defined geographical area of the South East of England.
RESPONSIBILITIES:* Achieve target of sales products in a defined area
* Be an ambassador for the business at all times
* Undertake technicalsurveys and sales quotations
* Recommend the primary works required for each installation
* Represent the company with customers and clients on site and external meetings where applicable
* Understand clients' needs and discuss sales opportunities* Administer and maintain a database of customer details and ensure accounts are administered correctly
* Assist in the resolution of account queries, issues or complaints
* Prepare and present reports reflecting the areas activities including key successes, losses and a forward sales forecast
* Assist in the development and presentation of a detailed annual sales plan
* Maintain an awareness of developments in market and customer needs and market trends and report these to management
THE PERSON:* Minimum 2 years within B2B sales
* Previous experience selling to public sector
* Fully PC literate
