Position: Business Development Manager

The Role
We are searching for a Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be charged with contacting new prospects, selling the concept and securing initial meetings plus attending new sales pitches/meetings and negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Proactively research new sales prospects across a number of sectors, ensuring the correct person is targeted
- Initiate face-to-face client meetings through research & follow up communication
- Manage relationships with rightsholders, governing bodies and relevant brands
- Develop a customer database and ensure it is effectively maintained
- Secure New Business sales through a professional network of high-level contacts, both local and national, via customer meetings, telephone sales and e-targeting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ideally a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a proactive sales environment
- Experience in an experiential/live marketing preferred, but not essential
- Proven experience in business development, negotiation, account management and relationship building
- Excellent IT skills (including excellent MS Office – word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent presentation and verbal skills
- Ambitious team player
- Able to work under pressure
