BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - HARDWOOD TIMBER
HOME BASED - MIDLANDS & NORTH WEST
UP TO £50,000 + BONUSES + BENEFITS
We are working fora progressive and expanding Timber distributor who are looking for a Business Development Manager to build and develop their territory across the North West and Midlands.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of hardwood timber products and be able to develop a client base with minimal supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Generating new business opportunities with potential clients.
* Working alongside the agency Directors to devise and implement New Business strategies
* Activating New Business campaigns; following up outbound campaigns on the phone and meeting with prospective clients across the territory
* Managing and keeping in touch with potential clients on the new business database
* Maintaining a consistent pipeline of new sales and managing existing accounts
THE PERSON:
* Previous experience within a Business Development / Sales role within Hardwood Timber is essential
* Proven track record within new business sales
* Excellent organisational and administration skills
* Confident to manage a busy and varied workload
