BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
PETERBOROUGH
up to £70,000 basic plus OTE + COMMISSION + CAR OR CAR ALLOWANCE

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of leading company within the Packaging Industry that has an impressive client base which spansinternationally. The company is embarking on an aggressive expansion plan to increase the market share within Europe and as such they are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager from the industry to join the business.
The successfulcandidate will be responsible for managing existing client, increasing revenue spend and proactively acquiring new clients to increase their market share.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Reporting to the Directors, you'll beresponsible for both operational and strategical growth of the companies sales within the UK and Europe
* Conducting market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities.
* Understanding the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
* Building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating,and concluding business opportunities.
* Work collaboratively with other teams, particularly procurement, technical and customer service, to ensure that customers' expectations are met.
* Where required lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to enhance business performance and customer experience.
* Operate as an influential leader in and outside the business, role modelling the company's values and behaviours.
THE PERSON:
* Experience within a Business Development position within the Packaging Industry is essential
* Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate with multiple decision makers
* Ability to travel throughout the UK and within Europe on occasion
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong business acumen and commercial skills
* Career driven individual who wants to progress with a fast growing business
