Get Recruited are supporting a market leading Fast Track 100 company based in Manchester who, due to continued growth, are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their expanding sales team.
Working with some of the largest companies in the UK, you will be responsible for selling a bespoke service to new and existing customers.As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, before securing sales.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an innovative and continuously growing sector. The role would suit a motivated, dedicated Business Development Manager who is seeking the opportunity to progress their career within the furnishing / interior design industry, whilst enjoying excellent earning potential and career progression.
THE ROLE:
* The role of the Business Development Manager involves gathering intelligence and sourcing leads
* Cold calling prospective clients, identifying their needs
* Attending client meetings, pitching the most suitable services for their needs and budgets
* Preparing quotes for thecustomer within an agreed timescale
* Negotiating contracts before closing the sale
* Manage a number of existing accounts in order to secure repeat business
* Constantly keeping up to date with the latest trends within the interior design sector
*Working towards agreed revenue targets and KPI's
THE PERSON:
* At least 2 years' sales / account management / new business / business development experience is essential
* Proven success within an outbound B2B sales
* The ability to clearly explain complex solutions
* A creative approach to solving problems
* Excellent communication skills
* A strong work ethic, willing to put in the extra hours to enjoy results
