My client are recruiting for a Buyer towork alongside their established Supply Chain department.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficient purchasing and negotiation of the best possible prices in allocated product set
- Cross-functional working with Sales, Supply Chain and Warehouse to ensure optimal efficiency
- Maximisation of margins for product set
- Market analysis/control to aid negotiations
- Maintenance of supplier relationships via external meetings
Key Requirements
- Previous experience working in a procurement function - experience within technology would serve as a benefit
- Skill and exposure to negotiation of pricing and relationships
- Ability towork cross-functionally
- Ability to present to internal and external stakeholders
- Microsoft Office skills
