The Interim Procurement Manager will be responsible for;
* Reporting to the Head Of Procurement and managing a team of Category Buyers.
* Overseeing all procurement projects and ensuring smooth operations within the team.
* Monthly reporting onprogression of projects and savings achieved against forecasts.
* Maintaining supplier databases and developing training on E-Sourcing system for the wider business.
* Liaising with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels.
* Preparing and issuing tenders, requests for quotations, requests for information, or request for proposals in line with legislation across goods and services Trust wide.
The successful candidate will be immediately available with a proven experience within a similar position.You will have the following;
* Up to date knowledge of EU tendering procedures.
* MCIPS or working towards.
* Demonstrable experience in contract management and project delivery in a regulated environment.
* Confident in managing a team.
Thissite is based in Hertfordshire, but the position will be remotely based and working from home. Occasional travel may be requested dependant on government guidelines. This position offers up to £300 p/d inside IR35.
