We are currently representing one of the UK's leading fresh food suppliers.
As a Procurement Manager you will:
*Be responsible for the sourcing and buying of high quality produce internationally, ensuring the best value prices are securedto deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
* Communicate effectively with producers across continents, continuously developingyour market knowledge to aid in the company's entrance to emerging markets.
* Negotiate supplier's proposals, develop annualsupply agreements and agree on seasonal programs.
* Ensure a smooth, uninterrupted flow of goods from suppliers to consumers,whilst developing lasting, honest relationships with international organisations.
* Reduce company wastage and increase Greenreports by minimising inventory investment and loss.
Requirements
The ideal candidate:
* Will have 5+ years' experience in a Buyers role, having managed international relationships throughout your career.
* Be educated with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area.
* Have a full UK Driver's License.
* Be enthusiastic regarding the Agribusiness andFood sectors, with a willingness to learn and a drive to succeed.
