TRADE COUNTER MANAGER
LONDON
UP TO £40,000 PER ANNUM + BONUS + LUCRATIVE BENEFITS + FREE PARKING
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Due to growth of the business I am currently recruiting for my client based in London for a Trade Counter Manager to join them ona full time, permanent basis.
My client are a successful and extremely busy DIY business, associated with a growing name, based on the door step of Central London, who need an experienced and enthusiastic person to join their growing team. They are a family-run store which has more than 30,000 products and various departments. They thrive on our product knowledge and going theextra mile for their customers.
You'll take ownership of this department, creating a shopping experience that will meet and exceed customers' expectations, whether they be professional traders, contractors or DIY enthusiasts.
THE ROLE:
* Greet customers to the store, assisting them in their enquiries and recommending the most suitable products for their needs and budgets* Manage all stock, liaising with the warehouse team and ordering in further stock as appropriate
* Manage the budget for the store
* Assisting in the unloading of deliveries
* Oversee all staff within the store, managing rotas and carrying out training
* Complete other duties as required
THE PERSON:
* Proven sales record and experience in the Industry
* Sales orientated with passion and drive to help our business grow
* Responsible and hardworking, able to work on their own initiative* Customer focused with excellent customer service and communication skills
* Able to build good relationships with store colleagues and customers to gain repeat business
* Have a keen eye for detail, especially in monitoring stock levels and placingorders
* Store presentation, merchandising and house keeping
* Computer literate with experience of using either POS systemor a computer sales system
