Description:
I'm currently recruiting for a Lab Technician to join a busy team in Edenderry, Co. Offaly.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Sample receipt and sample management
* Laboratory materials restock and organisation
* Washing of laboratory glassware (using automated glassware washer)
* Basic equipment calibration and work order completion
* Basic analytical testing - e.g.: pH, conductivity, TOC analysis
* Buffer / solution preparation
* Ordering consumables
* Waste management
* Maintaining laboratory records
* Comply with health and safety regulations
* Other activitiesat the discretion of the laboratory manager
Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Attributes
* Leaving certificate / FETAC level 6 qualification or better
* Excellent computer literacy / skills
* Ability to organize and prioritize work for timely completion
* Some or all of the following would provide the applicant with a distinct advantage:
* Previous experience working in a laboratory environment
* Knowledge of SAP
* Previous GMP experience
* Lean labs / Six sigma experience/knowledge
