Microbiology Manager Job - Pharma Waterford

The Microbiology Manager will coordinate the Microbiology team in day to day activities and ensure that team objectives are achieved.
Some of the duties within the Microbiology Manager role will include:
* To approve and keep updated laboratory SOPs in their area of work.
* Approval of all Quality and technical agreements
* To ensure the quality of the day-to-daywork coming out of the laboratory meets company standards
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure improvements are leveraged across the business
* Manage key metrics in the areas of quality, financials and Health and safety.
* To lead internal and External/regulatory audits for area of responsibility, including audit preparation
* Manage recruitment activities
About you
In addition to recognised qualifications in Microbiology or an equivalent scientific discipline, you will need to demonstrate:
* 8 years+ experience in a highly regulated microbiology lab
* Preferably 3 - 5 years' experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor
* Excellent leadership skills..
* Passionate about quality
* Superior communication skills
