My client are an award winning company who are market leaders within their industry and are ISO accredited. Due to a restructure, they are now seeking a Trainee Lab Technician to join their growing team.
This role would suit a motivated college leaver / trainee who is seeking the opportunity to kick start their career within an exciting industry.

THE ROLE:
* As the Trainee Lab Technician, you will be required to follow set procedures to accurately identify is asbestos is present within the samples
* Accurately input sample information and analysis into the internal system
* Check that all reports are technically accurate before being sent
* Liaise with site staff toassist in resolving any queries that may be identified when report checking
* Calibrate and maintain equipment as required* Support regular inspections to maintain the UKAS accreditations
* Complete other duties as required
THE PERSON:
* Atleast a pass grade in GCSE Maths and English is essential
* An interest in science would be advantageous
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good numerical and IT skills
