Salary - £30,000 - £45,000 Per Annum Negotiable depending on experience
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients that are a UK based, multi-disciplinary CAD Services. Their team of CAD Technicians produce an array of different types of 2D CAD Drawings and 3D CAD Models to suit many industries and applications, they are an excellent process are the cornerstone for successfully outsourcing your CAD requirement. Their work is mainly focused on providing the link between design and reality. They take the designs from Structural Engineers, Product Designers or MEP Consultants and turn them into information that can be relied upon for manufacture, fabrication or installation.
Due to expansion and continued growth my client is now looking for a Advanced Steel Structural steelwork detailer, however you can be from a Tekla, StruCAD or X Steel background as long as you can transition over to Advanced Steel.
Responsibility & Duties
* Product Detailed fabrication drawings
* Architectural steel work detailing
* General CAD design of architectural metalwork and steel structures
* Producing drawings on Advanced Steel CAD package.
* Read & understand Drawings by Structural Engineer
* Produce structural & architectural steel 3D Models using Autodesk Advance Steel
* Create & Revise Hot & Cold Rolled Structural Steel Fabrication Drawings
* Create & Revise Balustrade Fabrication Drawings* Create & Revise Staircases Fabrication Drawings
Experience & Qualification
* Experience of Advanced Steel Ideally
* If you have come from a Tekla or another CAD system background, they are considering users that can transfer over to Advanced Steel.
* AutoCAD, Revit Or Stru CAD advantageous
* Have had experience with steel fabrication, steelwork industry
*Knowledge of ISO9001, CE Markings, BS EN 1090 and PAS 1192-2 is desirable
* Portfolio / Examples of modelling
* Experience working on heavy structures or architectural metalwork
