A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients who are experts and specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of structural & architectural steel-work, structural propping and shoring equipment and steel work for water utilities.
Due to continued expansion and a heavy work load, they are now looking for a Draughtsman to join their growing drawing office. The ideal candidate will have some experience of architectural metalwork, structural detailing using Advanced Steel orTekla is a bonus however this role is open to someone experienced or junior that has only just finished university. The role iscompletely open to different experience levels so if you feel this is something that interests you please contact on the details below.
Responsibility & Duties
* Produce Detailed fabrication drawings
* Architectural metalwork detailing, balconies, staircases, glazing systems, steel bridges.
* General CAD design of architectural metalwork
* Producing drawings on AutoCAD 2D package & Advanced Steel.
* Possibly site survey
Experience & Qualification
* AutoCAD, Revit or StruCAD Tekla Advanced Steel, Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor would also be considered.
* Portfolio / Examples of drawings desirable
* Site survey would be good but not essential
* Good communication skills
* Positive attitude very important
