Our client are a main contractor based in the North West. They are a client who are well known for delivering projects from £2 - £20 million and specialise in Commercial, Retail and heavy refurbishments. Due to winning a lot of work and continued growth they are looking to appoint a new Design Manager.
This role will report into the Pre-Construction Manager butmain duties will consist of:
* Managing design meetings
* Reviewing designs including technical documents
* Preparation of reports for both technical and commercial factors
* Liaising with project construction staff
* Detailed design planning and supporting planners
* Preparing design briefs and inputting for investigations and surveys
* Site inspections* Managing all external consultants
This role will be working on multiple projects so somebody who enjoys a wide variety intheir job role will enjoy this.
