A leading specialist civil contractor is looking to recruit an experienced estimatorfor a Limerick based role. Ideally the candidate will have extensive experience within the Irish market and live in close proximity to Limerick. This is largely an office based role with 1-2 days nationwide travel required.
The role will involve;
* Management of all estimation works
* Relaying tender information to contracts management team
* Constant communication with Site Management team to account for all live costs
* Preparation of variations
* Formation of final accounts
* Leading admin and quantity surveying staff
* Working in a fast paced environment
The ideal candidate will;
* Have a trade or degreebackground
* Experience within Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying and or Estimation
* Will have worked in the Irish Market
* Has over 5 years relevant experience
* Has an established network within contractors, sub-contractors and clients
* Keen to work in Limerick
* Has a full driving licence
* Can attend sites nationwide without restriction
* Looking for a long-term career with the firm
* Excellent IT skills
* Superb communication skills
* Happy to lead a team
* Professional demeanour and happy to represent the firm
