A fantastic contract job-opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Foreman.
The employer is an award-winning UK-based Civil Engineering contractor, with a very strong reputation in the highways & civils sector. They are looking for an experienced candidate to work on a flagship project in Coventry.
As GF, you will report to the Site Agent. This role will suit someone with good man-management skills and the ability to bring the best out of the workforce. Good organisational skills are a must, as are good (English speaking) communication skills.
Duties:
* Conducting site safety briefings & toolbox talks
* Conducting site inductions
* Managing all permits to work
* Checking RA/MS
*Management & supervision of the workforce
* Plant & material allocations
* Checking drawings & plans
* Contribute to site meetings where required
Training / Qualifications:
* Must have: SSSTS/CSCS/First Aid
* Should Have: NRSWA Supervisor Certificate
* Could Have: College or higher education in a construction related subject
Preferred Experience:
* Highways / Streetworks / Roadworks
* Civil Engineering
* S278 work
* Hard Landscaping
* Drainage
* Kerb Laying & Street Lighting
* Roundabout works
* Remediation
